Create/Explore is comprised of real world professionals that love sharing knowledge and inspiring others to Explore the world and their own Creativity. Our goal is to help you grow and we strive to ensure that you have an amazing workshop experience. Equipment - Each participant is expected to bring a digital SLR camera (rental options available) and a laptop loaded with editing software. Some classes require specific software/gear while others do not. Please contact us if you have any questions.
Skill Levels – We offer a variety of classes and some require specific skills in order for the workshop to be successful for the participant. Contact us if you are unsure where you stand and we will be happy to discuss the options.
- Level 1 – Beginner. You have a camera and you want to learn more about image making.
- Level 2 – Amateur. You understand how to use your camera, but want to take it to the next level.
- Level 3 – Advanced. You know a lot already but you are seeking some deeper insight into the craft.
Location - Workshops are held in and around commercial photography studio, StudioBurns in the Historic Inman Park area of Atlanta. Travel and transportation costs are not covered. We will supply the address to participants prior to workshop.
Meals – During weekend workshops, meals are not provided but we will try to eat together and participation is encouraged as this is a good time to get to know your classmates and instructors on a more personal level and to discuss things outside the scope of the workshop. Dining locations will be announced to participants prior to workshop arrival.
Refunds/Cancellations – 80% refunds can be given up to 30 days prior to the start of the workshop. No refunds will be given once we get to the 30 day countdown unless the entire workshop gets canceled. If workshop cancellations occur, full refunds will be given. In certain cases where you have paid but are are unable to attend the workshop due to extreme circumstances outside your control, the workshop registration fee may be applied to another workshop hosted by Create/Explore. This decision is on a case by case basis and is made by Create/Explore Workshops.
